HE All Books for Children Holiday Book Buy is a simple program with an ambitious goal: One million new books in the hands of deserving kids this holiday season.

    The program begins with your $3 donation at any Starbucks store. You receive a "thank-you" keepsake bookmark for your donation. Your barista will also hand you a "bookplate" to sign and deposit in the book-buy box at the register. Your bookplate will be placed on the inside cover of a new book for a deserving child.

    All money raised between November 12th and December 24th will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The clubs use the funds to buy premium book titles at a steep discount from the participating publishers (Disney Publishing, Scholastic and HarperCollins Children's Books) and then distribute the books to children across the country based on need. Kids will start their year with new books, each with a personalized bookplate signed by a donor.

    Your entire $3 donation goes directly to buying books for deserving kids. The companies providing promotional assistance, low-cost books, order processing and transportation are donating their time, services, and money to the All Books for Children campaign.
